Naisargika karakas are the natural significators: each planet permanently stands for certain people and matters — the Sun for the father, the Moon for the mother, Venus for the spouse — in every chart alike. Alongside the houses, each planet carries a fixed set of meanings it holds for everyone: the Sun always speaks for the father and the soul, the Moon for the mother and the mind, Mars for siblings and courage, Mercury for speech and commerce, Jupiter for children, wealth and wisdom, Venus for the spouse and pleasures, Saturn for longevity and hardship. This gives the astrologer a second witness.
