The D30 divides each sign into thirty and is the classical chart of misfortunes — the specific character of troubles, and the moral fibre tested by them.
Parashara's trimshamsha is irregular: in odd signs Mars rules the first 5°, Saturn the next 5°, Jupiter 8°, Mercury 7°, Venus 5°, reversed for even signs — only the five tara grahas rule, never the luminaries.
— Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra ṣoḍaśavarga adhyāya
Division: 5 unequal bands per sign (5/5/8/7/5 degrees). Read for arishta character, chastity and integrity themes in the old texts — this platform translates such indications into agency-preserving guidance per its house style; the D30 also weighs in vimshopaka.
