Raja Bhanga Yoga Calculator

Raja Bhanga Yoga is a Vedic astrology cancellation pattern that can reduce, delay, or neutralize the results of an otherwise present Raja Yoga. It is an important corrective factor because a chart may show rise and status potential but still lose some of its promised smoothness due to Bhanga conditions.

In this rule set, Raja Bhanga Yoga is judged mainly through two patterns. One is for Leo Lagna, where Saturn is exalted in the Rashi chart but debilitated in Navamsa. The second is when Sun is at deep debilitation at 10° Libra, usually with additional supporting afflictions such as Grahan-type influence or harsh Saturn pressure.

The calculator checks whether the chart matches one of the accepted Raja Bhanga combinations, then reviews whether the supporting afflictions are strong enough to make the Bhanga meaningful. It also considers whether the existing Raja Yoga is strong enough to resist or override the cancellation effect.

When active, Raja Bhanga Yoga can reduce the smoothness of Raja Yoga results, delay rise, create reversals, or make authority and status harder to sustain. The native may still rise, but often with more friction, inconsistency, or loss of the textbook royal ease.

Yes. If the Raja Yoga planets are extremely strong in divisional dignity, especially with higher Vaiseshikamsa strength, the Raja Yoga can still function significantly. In such cases, Bhanga may reduce timing and ease, but it does not always fully cancel the rise.
