The D60 divides each sign into sixty parts and is the deepest varga — the chart of accumulated karma from past lives, given great weight when the birth time is precise.
Sixty parts of 30′ per sign, each with its own named deity, benefic or malefic; Parashara ranks the shashtiamsha's weight in vimshopaka above every varga except the rashi and navamsha group.
— Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra ṣoḍaśavarga adhyāya
Division: 60 × 30′ — a two-minute birth-time error moves every D60 position, so this platform's stability flags matter most here: D60 readings are qualified whenever the birth time is uncertain.
