Revati is the twenty-seventh and final nakshatra, closing Pisces. It carries safe passage — nourishing, protective sweetness that shepherds travellers, endings, and transitions of every kind. People under it tend to be dependable and responsible, intuitive enough to decide well and in good time, kind, faithful and fond of tradition; their strong empathy is their gift and, now and then, their burden, yet they keep a warm, hopeful outlook through it all. As the final mansion of the zodiac, it shepherds safe passage through endings and every kind of transition.
Presided over by Pushan, the shepherd of roads and flocks, with the fish (or drum marking time) as its symbol. Its Vimshottari lord is Budha.
— Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra daśā adhyāya (Vimśottarī lords)
Span 16°40′–30°00′ Meena; lord Mercury in Jupiter's sign, containing Venus's exaltation degree (27° Meena). Its final degrees close the zodiac at the Revati–Ashwini junction, the third gandanta knot; Mercury's debilitation deepest point (15° Meena) sits just before its start.
