Kalpadruma Yoga FAQ
Parijat Yoga, also known as Kalpadruma Yoga, is a rare Raja Yoga associated with steady rise, recognition, wealth, authority, and lasting social acceptance. It is known more for structured and dependable growth than for sudden spikes of success.
Parijat Yoga is judged through the Lagna Lord, the dispositor of the Lagna Lord, and the dispositor of that dispositor, with strength confirmed through both Rashi and Navamsa. When these planets are placed in kendras, trikonas, or exaltation conditions as required, the yoga is formed.
The calculator checks the Lagna Lord chain step by step, then reviews the dignity of the relevant planets in D1 and D9. It also checks whether the combination is clean enough to support the yoga’s promise of stable and sustained rise.
When strong and unafflicted, Parijat Yoga can support authority, wealth, public respect, career rise, influence, and long-term social acceptance. Its results often become more visible with maturity and can show as steady progress rather than sudden fortune.
The yoga can weaken when the Lagna Lord, its dispositor chain, or the supporting dignity pattern is heavily afflicted. Saturn can bring delay and self-doubt, Mars can create impatience or conflict-driven decisions, and Sun-related affliction can create rigidity or ego-based mistakes during growth.
A person born with this Yoga will rise to prominence, wealth, authority and acceptance. This Yoga usually acts in an ordered fashion and is seen as effective during a person's middle ages.
When Lagna Lord (under Rashi chart), his dispositor planet (under Rashi chart) and the latter's dispositor planet (under Rashi chart and Navamsa Chart) are all positioned either in a Kendra, Trikon, or Ucha Rashi, this auspicious Yoga is formed in one's horoscope. (Original defnition mentioned under BPHS, Ch 36, ver. 33-34)
There are few Yoga combinations in astrology where the dignity is checked through the Navamsa or other specific divisional charts. Parijat Yoga is one such yoga which confirms the strength through Rashi and Navamsa. This makes the yoga more effective and powerful when compared to other auspicious yogas, where we need to further check the actual strength and dignity of planets involved.
Since the requirement for forming this Yoga is a bit complex, it is considered a rare Yoga.
Note: This calculator follows the exact definition of Parijat Yoga described in Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra and does not acknowledge any other combinations.
