Hari Hara Brahma Yoga in Vedic astrology is a kind of Trimurti Yoga where the native displays either of the three qualities of Trinity in Hinduism. i.e., Creation, sustenance and Destruction or Recycling. This powerful yoga, if present in a horoscope, makes the person spiritual in a true manner.

Yoga is formed in three ways, representing three Trimurti energies.

  • If Sun, Venus and Mars occupy 4th, 10th and 11th houses from the Lagna Lord. This yoga will prominently display the creative ability of Brahma, as the reference given here is Lagna or starting.
  • If Natural Benefics in the horoscope (Jupiter, Venus, Mercury and Moon) occupies 8th and 12th houses from the 2nd house. Here natives will be inclined towards maintaining their worldly life or the ability of Hari (Vishnu) as 2nd house reference shows the materialism or wealth. Benefic status of Mercury and Moon need to be checked here as these two planets can act as natural malefic under certain conditions.
  • If Jupiter, Mercury and Moon occupy 4th, 8th and 9th houses respectively from 7th Lord. Here Maraka capability of the 7th house is taken into account, activating the destruction and renewing power of Hara (Maheshwara).

All the three combinations produce certain general results of righteousness, spirituality, compassion and kindness to others. These people are almost invincible towards wordly challenges and they attain and reach their goals at some point in their life.

Hari Hara Brahma Yoga FAQ

HariHara Brahma Yoga is a Trimurti-type Vedic astrology yoga linked with spirituality, dharma, compassion, resilience, and purpose-driven success. It reflects one or more of the three divine principles of creation, sustenance, and renewal working through the chart.

This yoga can form in three different ways. In the Brahma variant, Sun, Venus, and Mars occupy the 4th, 10th, and 11th houses from the Lagna Lord. In the Hari variant, natural benefics occupy the 8th and 12th houses from the 2nd house. In the Hara variant, Jupiter, Mercury, and Moon occupy the 4th, 8th, and 9th houses from the 7th Lord.

The calculator checks the chart against the accepted Brahma, Hari, and Hara formation rules, then reviews whether the planets involved qualify properly, including the benefic status of Moon and Mercury where required. It also considers whether the chart support is strong enough for the yoga to function meaningfully.

When strong and clean, this yoga can support spirituality, compassion, ethical conduct, resilience, kindness, and the ability to keep moving toward meaningful goals even through pressure or difficulty.

The weakening pattern depends on which variant is formed. In the Brahma form, Saturn and Rahu can distort the creative and initiating quality. In the Hari or Hara forms, Saturn, Mars, and Rahu or Ketu can reduce smooth results and make the yoga more turbulent or delay-prone.
