Dehakashta Yoga Calculator
Deha Kashta yoga in Vedic astrology says about the overwork and hardships happening to the body. The yoga is formed if the Lagna Lord is positioned itself in the 8th house or if it joins a malefic planet like Mars, Rahu or Saturn. It should be noted that if the Lagna Lord is getting an aspect from Jupiter that is situated in a Kendra or Trikon, then this yoga will cease to exist. Also, if Mars or Saturn is a yoga karaka planet for the particular horoscope, then the yoga will not occur through the conjunction of these planets.
Deha Kashta yoga should not be taken literally by its words, as the author himself says that a person who is involved in manual labour can have this yoga. So this yoga is not related to bad or poor health condition. The yoga can also be seen in people who are involved in adventurous activities.
Note: This calculator does not consider the Sun as a malefic planet for this yoga.

Dehakashta Yoga is a Vedic astrology combination associated with bodily strain, overwork, physical hardship, and a life pattern where the body carries more effort than usual. It does not always mean poor health, but it often shows a chart where physical endurance, labour, or strain becomes an important part of life.
Dehakashta Yoga forms when the Lagna Lord is placed in the 8th house, or when the Lagna Lord conjoins a malefic planet such as Mars, Rahu, or Saturn. In this rule set, Sun is not counted as the malefic trigger for this yoga.
The calculator checks whether the Lagna Lord is in the 8th house or joined with Mars, Rahu, or Saturn. It also reviews important exception rules, such as protective Jupiter aspect and yogakaraka exceptions, before treating the yoga as active.
Yes. If the Lagna Lord receives Jupiter’s aspect and Jupiter is placed in a kendra or trikona, the yoga is treated as cancelled. Also, if Mars or Saturn is a yogakaraka for the horoscope, the yoga is not formed merely by conjunction with that planet.
When active, Dehakashta Yoga can show a hardworking life, more bodily effort, strenuous routines, overexertion, or physical challenge. It can also produce endurance, toughness, and resilience, especially when the native handles life with discipline and structured habits.
