Twenty-seven parts of 1°6′40″ per sign — one per nakshatra across the zodiac; Parashara assigns it to strength and vigour (bala).
— Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra ṣoḍaśavarga adhyāya
Division: 27 × 1°6′40″, mirroring the nakshatra wheel. Consulted for stamina and resilience readings and as a vimshopaka component; afflictions here qualify strength a bala score alone would overstate.
