The Significance of Hanuman Jayanti

The birth of Lord Hanuman, the powerful and devoted follower of Lord Rama, is commemorated by Hindus during the sacred festival of Hanuman Jayanti; he embodies strength, devotion, and selfless service. The festival falls on the full moon of Chaitra (March-April) in most of India, although some areas observe it during Deepavali or Kartika (October-November).

The Birth and Divine Purpose of Hanuman

Blessed by the Wind God, Vayu, Hanuman, son of Anjana and Kesari, was an incredibly powerful incarnation of Shiva.
